Place is old and dated..hotel is a good walk from beech road bus route..has pool and elevator..never saw restaurant busy,usually closed..at night the walk back to hotel was a little scary.room was cleaned and never saw bugs.

I pass in this hostel without reservation but I've checked on internet the price and availability just before I get in. The receptions let me understand that I was disturbing their habits because I arrived without booking and asked to see the double room first and they refused. "We never show the room without booking" the receptionist said. Then I asked about dormitory and they mentioned a price higher than booking website. They told me to book online directly and then I try to connect to internet but the 3G was not working in their dark lobby. I requested the WiFi password but they answer: "The WiFi is only for customers". When I finally decided to go to a coffee shop nearby to find a WiFi, the receptionist claimed me to come back and decided to give me the WiFi password. It was to late: there is another hostel next door thousand more professional and friendly.

We asked to stay a second night and they tried charging us a higher rate then we had paid through booking.com. When we told them, they told us to go book online then. After we booked online they said, why didn't you tell us you we "genious members". I didn't think this was the clients responsibility to inform the staff our status with booking.com When we were checking out the desk clerk tried to charge us for a broken glass, which we did not break. Plus deep cleaning for sheets which just needed to be washed. We had to go back to the rooms and show the maids that it only took water to clean the sheet and there was 2 glasses in the room, nothing was broken or that strained. The desk clerk said if we didn't pay the chargers he would have to pay for it himself. We have never had this problem and had we stayed at this property 7 or 8 months ago for 4 nights. We will never stay there again nor will our friends. The staff is trying to charge the hotel clients for things that are lies and making them feel guilty for not paying. Very poor and bad service.

Clean accommodation and friendly hosts around here, that helps you out in any issues. The beach and restaurants are not far away. For this price a great value. I like this place, absolutely recommendable.

The incharge was very helpful as he made few calls and booked me a scuba dive on a short notice. I liked the food which they serve as well. It's easy to rent a bike from here. Many tourist destinations (underwater, dolphins, Jomtien beach, nooch nong etc) in close vicinity.
